As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, Langit Biru Pertiwi collaborated with CMA CGM Indonesia in a marine conservation initiative held at Karang Bongkok Island, Desa Laguna Regenerative Village, on 31 July 2026. The activity brought together volunteers in a shared effort to protect and restore Indonesia’s coastal ecosystem through hands-on conservation actions.

The program featured a series of marine conservation activities, including coral reef restoration, clownfish release, and snorkeling to observe the surrounding marine biodiversity. The activities were designed to encourage environmental awareness while giving participants the opportunity to take part in conservation efforts and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of healthy marine ecosystems.

As part of the restoration efforts, participants transplanted 80 coral fragments representing four coral species across five restoration media. The program also introduced 55 sea anemones and 40 clownfish (nemo) to support the development of the reef ecosystem and contribute to the recovery of marine biodiversity in the area.

The initiative reflects the importance of collaboration between the private sector and local communities in advancing marine conservation efforts. Through practical restoration activities and environmental education, participants gained a deeper understanding of how healthy coral reefs support marine life, coastal resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
