Gerak Hijau 2026 brought together collective efforts to promote environmental awareness and sustainable action during the Car Free Day (CFD) Sudirman, Jakarta, on 26 July 2026. As part of the initiative, BALIKIN, the reusable cup service by Langit Biru Pertiwi, supported the event by providing 5,000 reusable cups, helping encourage the adoption of reusable solutions and reduce reliance on single-use cups during the event.

Gerak Hijau 2026 was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, with support from PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk as part of its 58th Anniversary celebration. Carrying the theme “Gerak Bersama, Hijaukan Indonesia,” the event brought together government institutions, businesses, communities, and thousands of participants in a collective effort to promote environmental awareness through healthy and sustainable activities.

Unlike conventional fun walk events, Gerak Hijau 2026 embraced an eco-friendly fun walk concept by integrating waste reduction, waste segregation, material reuse, and sustainability education throughout the event. The initiative encouraged participants to adopt more environmentally responsible habits while demonstrating how sustainability can be seamlessly incorporated into public events.

To support this vision, BALIKIN implemented its reusable cup system by supplying 5,000 reusable cups for participants’ hydration needs. The initiative helped reduce dependence on single-use cups while showcasing the practicality of reusable solutions in managing hydration at large-scale outdoor events.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to reducing waste generation and promoting circular practices in public events. Through partnerships between government, industry, and sustainability solution providers, Gerak Hijau 2026 demonstrated that environmental responsibility can be integrated into community activities without compromising participant experience.

As the implementing partner for the reusable cup system, Langit Biru Pertiwi remains committed to supporting organizations in adopting circular solutions that minimize waste and encourage responsible resource use. The successful implementation at Gerak Hijau 2026 reinforces the importance of collaboration in accelerating the transition toward more sustainable events across Indonesia.
